<h1>Business - Making it Real!</h1>
 
This site has been created to give Business 115 student groups a website location to publish their work. During the next 4 weeks each group will progress through the following steps. 
 
Week 1 
1. Learning about entrepreneurship and business planning.in class and by reading the textbook. 
2. Forming groups and collaborating on the choice of a business that they would like to start up. 
3. Researching useful information related to their choice and creating the outline of a business plan. 
4. Publishing the groups progress in detail to this site. 
5. Each member publishing a statement about what they learned this past week. 
 
Week 2 
1. Learning about marketing research, the 4 P's of marketing, and 4 types of promotion in class and by reading the textbook. 
2. Researching useful information, real world examples, and creating their marketing plans. 
3. Publishing the results of their research and the marketing section of the business plan to this site. 
4. Each member publishing a statement about what they learned this past week. 
 
Week 3 
1. Learning about management and leadership in class and by reading the textbook. 
2. Creating a mission statement, a list or chart of management positions required, and some detail on the responsibilities and capabilities required by each position. 
3. Publishing the mission statement, management positions, and duties to the business plan. 
4. Publishing related research on leadership to this site. 
5. Each member publishing a statement about what they learned this past week. 
 
Week 4 
1. Learning about financial management and accounting in class and by reading the textbook. 
2. Preparing a list of funds required for startup. 
3. Preparing a one-year monthly profit and loss projection for the company. 
4. Preparing a yearly profit and loss projection for 5 years into the future. 
5. Publishing the financial information to the business plan. 
6. Each member publishing a statement about what they learned this past week
